I am pleased to announce that I am the new Director of the Center of Innovation for Aerospace, an initiative housed in the Georgia Department of Economic Development that partners Georgia companies in this industry with resources to foster innovation-based economic growth. The center connects aerospace companies in Georgia with industry-specific academic, business and relevant development resources designed to accelerate industry growth throughout the state.

Georgia has a very dynamic aerospace environment of 500+ companies with over 80,000 employees supporting production of the world’s most advanced fighter, the most widely used military transport, the most advanced business jet, the premier agricultural aircraft, and a myriad of other aerospace products. Georgia also hosts the headquarters of the world’s largest airline, the world’s busiest airport, and a major US Air Force Air Logistics Center.
